Zanskar

UPTO A FEW years ago, this small ancient kingdom was closed to tourism.
The region, very wild and mountainous, is fed by the Zanskar river, along which we find monasteries and a few small villages, it allows exquisite trekking, on foot or horseback, of one or more days duration and various scales of difficulty.
This ancient Kingdom rests between Pakistan and China and is drenched in Buddhist culture.
