From
Dharamsala and Triund (2830m): 8km in a 4 to 5 hour hike.
Triund is a magnificant place to camp and the rest houses have
been constructed to this effect.

Hike
from Triund to Lahas Cave (3500m): there is 6 km to cover
in 4 to 5 hours. Lahas Cave is beyond the Laka glacier and
can be cold as it is above the vegetation line.

From
Lahas Cave to Chatta Gote (3700m) through the Inderhara pass (4350m):
The distance is 8km, but it is necessary to allow between 8 to
9 hours of hiking as it is a steep climb and necessary to cross
some glaciers. An early start is required to cross the pass
in time.

From
Chatta Gote to Kawarsi (2730m): 12km in 7 to 8 hours of
hiking. Kawarsi is a tribal village of Chamba and Bharmour.

From
Kawarsi to Siunre (2000m): Situated in the Bharmour valley
and on the banks of the Ravi river of Chamba, Siunre is an ideal
place to camp. The distance of 11km must be covered in 5
to 6 hours. This day promises to be exceptional because
of the quantity of tribal areas to visit. It is also a unique
opportunity to immerse ourselves into the daily lives of the natives.

From
Siunre to Bharmour (2130m): A short march of 4 to 5 hour to cover
the 7km separating these two sites. Bharmour is a small
city in the tribal region of Chamba, sacred because of the 84
Hindu temples located there.

Rest
day in Bharmour (2130m). One can see the indigenous life
here and visit its 84 Hindu temples. We will also stock
up for the rest of the trek. There are various guest houses
with all comforts.

From
Bharmour to Kugti village (2590m) there is about 13km and you
should allow between 6 to 7 hours hiking. Kugti is the last
village in the Bharmour valley which includes the Lahaul and Spiti.

From
Kugti village to Duggi Gote (3800m): 8km a 5 to 6 hour hike.
Duggi is a charming campsite overlooked by grassy hills.

From
Duggi Gote to Lahes Cave (4200m): 8km in a 5 to 6 hours hike.
Lahes Cave is a very special viewpoint for the surrounding peaks,
notably the Mani Mahes peak of the Lond Shiva (5420m).

From
Lahes Cave to Khudru (3700m). It is physically the most
demanding and longest stage. The Kugti pass is difficult
because of its elevation, making for slow progress. Once
the pass is cleared we arrive in Lahaul valley, completely different
from the valleys of Chamba and Kangras. 9 hours will be
needed to cover the 12km of this hard day.

From
Khudru to Keylong (3200m). Keylong is the capital of the
Lahaul and Spiti valley. There is a 3 hour walk to the bus
and then a one hour bus ride to Keylong. From here it is
possible to go to Manali/Kullu, Dharamsala or to take the bus
to Leh-ladakh and Kashmir.

Return
to New Delhi by bus and transfer to the airport for your return home.
Remark:
it is necessary to have a minimum climbing
experience because of the high and greatly variations in altitude.
