Day visit to Mcleod Ganj and Dharamsala. |

Hike from Mcleod Ganj to Triund (2830m): 8km in 4 to 5 hours.
Triund is a magnificent place to camp and the rest houses have
been constructed to this effect. |

Hike from Triund to Lahas Cave (3500m): there is 6 km to
cover in 4 to 5 hours. Lahas Cave is beyond the Laka glacier
and can be cold as it is above the vegetation line. |

From Lahas Cave to Chatta Gote (3700m) through the Inderhara pass
(4350m): The distance is 8km, but it is necessary to allow
between 8 to 9 hours of hiking as it is a steep climb and necessary
to cross some glaciers. An early start is required to cross
the pass in time. |

From Chatta Gote to Kawarsi (2730m): 12km in 7 to 8 hours
of hiking. Kawarsi is a tribal village of Chamba and Bharnour. |

From Kawarsi to Holi (1500m): 12km and 5 to 6 hours of hiking
through the valley of Bhamour on the banks of the Ravi river. |

From Holi to Nayagraon (1900m): about 7 hours march to cover the
17km of this stage. The camp is on the banks of the Ravi
river. |

From Nayagraon to Yara (3100m): 13km in a 6 to 7 hour hike to
reach the best campsite on the itinerary. |

Day of rest in Yara. Yara is called the second Switzerland
because of its magnificent landscapes of mountain and forests.
It is possible to go and see the nearest countryside, go for a
walk or take a swim. |

From Yara to Barai via Jalsu Pass: Barai is located 2400m
above sea level, as well as 14km or 8 hours march from Yara.
Barai provides a magnificent panorama of the Pirpanjal and the
Dhauladhar mountain range. |

From Barai to Uttralla (1800m): 9km and a 5 to 6 hours hike. |

From Uttralla to Mcleod Ganj by bus. |

|
Return to New Delhi by bus and transfer to the airport for your return
home. |
