DHARAMSALA, a mythical city, home to the Dalai Lama since his departure from Tibet, as well as the Tibetan Government in Exile.  Many monasteries are present there, as well as several schools and centers which, encourage and safeguard the Tibetan culture.
Here many treks are possible from one to several days, as well as training and courses in meditation given by the Dalai Lama himself.
